A modern aluminum frame and high-quality components - this is the recipe for success for the SLIDE TRAIL AL 8.0. The ingredients consist of a complete Fox chassis with a 150mm Fox 36 Performance suspension fork and the Fox Float DPS Performance damper with 140mm travel. This means that sufficient reserves are provided to fly playfully down the trail even in rough terrain. Back up the mountain it goes with the help of a SRAM drive from components of the 12-speed SRAM Eagle groupset, which is known for its reliable and tight gear changes and offers the right gear ratio for every degree of incline or decline. And since the absorbed speed must unfortunately also be reduced again at some point - sometimes very abruptly -, we have equipped the SLIDE TRAIL AL 8.0 front and rear with a Magura MT5 four-piston brake system, which harmonizes well with the frame and chassis and gives the rider the necessary security through good dosing and strong braking power. The choice of tires from the range of Schwalbe fell on the biting Magic Mary for the front and the popular Big Betty at the rear, each with ADDIX Soft rubber compound and Super Trail casing - so with powerful grip and control on a wide variety of ground conditions. The SUNringlé Düroc 35 Expert wheelset represent an excellent compromise between stability and weight and thus round off the equipment of the SLIDE TRAIL AL 8.0, which is consistently geared towards pure riding fun!
