SPECIALIZED FUSE COMP 29 MOUNTAIN BIKE 2021
Featuring a sturdy yet lightweight M4 Premium Aluminium chassis and specced with parts that don't shy away from hard labour on the trails, the Specialized Fuse Comp 29 Mountain Bike is a playful hardtail that's sure to raise a smile. A wide-diameter downtube heightens frame stiffness for a responsive ride, whilst the slanted top tube ensures nimble handling and improved manoeuvrability when carving up more technical terrain.
Fast-rolling 29" wheels boast grippy traction in rough corners and swallow up any obstacles in their path, conquering roots, rocks and logs with unflinching capability. 130mm of travel is provided by the RockShox Recon RL fork, ironing out undulating terrain and soaking up bumps from any objects encountered on the trail, whilst the long reach heightens stability by evening out weight distribution.
During descents or swerving corners, weight can be easily shifted back over the rear wheel by utilising the TranzX dropper seatpost, whilst the slack head angle ensures stability at speed. Shimano M4100 disc brakes make for confident descending thanks to their near-immediate stopping power and consistent performance in a multitude of testing conditions. Topping off this capable bike is the 1x12-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, which simplifies shifting whilst maintaining a wide-ranging gear ratio to handle steep rises.
